In this paper we obtain new topological restrictions on Lagrangian embeddings into subcritical Stein manifolds. We also extend previous results of Gromov, Oh, Polterovich and Viterbo on Lagrangian submanifolds of ℂnto the more general case of subcritical Stein manifolds.
