When the diffusion set is a fractal, whether the generating mappings of the diffusion set are linear or nonlinear, the concrete expressions for the diffusion kernel are obtained. Moreover, the fractional diffusion exponent γ of the diffusion kernel must satisfy 0<γ<1. In addition, the inverse problem of the above case is also discussed.
