BY ARMAND BRUMER Communicated by Daniel Zelinsky, October 1, 1963 In the hypothesis of Theorem 2, the following condition should be added : Suppose 0, is the unique maximal order in D. This is satisfied in two important cases, namely if D~K or if R is complete. One may obtain, by completion, explicit results when this hypothesis is removed, but they are somewhat more complicated and will be described elsewhere.
