Tnn method of integral transforms has been successfully applied in recent years to the solution of boundary value and initial value problems in applied mathematics and is well known. In problems in which the range of values which can be assumed by one of the variables, x say, is (0, oo) the use of an integral transform of the type] f (x) K (~ x) dx(1)
