The article describes the case of a 44-year-old Japanese woman with intractable erythematosus plaques on the hands called palmoplantar eosinophilic pustular folliculitis. Her skin biopsy revealed psoriasiform acanthosis of the epidermis and perivascular infiltration of eosinophils in the superficial dermis. She was given indomethacin. The erythematous plaques subsided, leaving residual pigmentation after two weeks.
