Ceratocystis adiposa known as phytopathogen of conifers has not been recognized so far as a human pathogen. Herein, we report for the first time a case of allergic fungal rhinosinusitis due to C adiposa. The fungus was identified by sequencing internal transcribed spacer of rDNA and D1/D2 of larger subunit region. (C) 2014 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
