Vocal cord palsy, injection laryngoplasty, calcium phosphate cement, vocal fold medialization, recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy METHODS Indications Patients with unilateral vocal fold paralysis who can undergo general anesthesia are eligible for this surgery. We have established a novel injection laryngoplasty technique using calcium phosphate cement (CPC, BIOPEX-R, Hoya, Tokyo, Japan) since 2003.2 CPC has been commercially available as a kit for bone graft substitutes in Japan since 2000.
