7O 720.3 (720) Acetyl CH3 [a] Peptides larger than 7R and 7O were not studied because of low solubility in water.[b] Measured either by fast atom bombardment (FAB-MS) or by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS).[c] The pair of resonances for the cis and trans isomers used in magnetization-transfer NMR experiments.[d] Peptide 3O isomerizes in aqueous solution to a reaction mixture that was not characterized; 3O also is extremely hygroscopic.[e] Data from ref.[8].[f] No suitable cis/trans pair of resonances could be found for the inversion magnetization-transfer experiments.
