This book depicts the many issues women faculty in science and engineering face, and gives solutions that can be widely accepted at academic institutions around the U.S. Drawing on the expertise of scientists and engineers, social scientists and specialists in organizational behavior, and university administrators, this is the first collection to describe the variety of innovative efforts academic institutions around the country have undertaken.
