1,2-Thiazetidines 2 and 3 were synthesized by the reactions of anti- and syn-9,9'-bibenzonorbomenylidenes with TsNSO, followed by deimination with SmI 2 . Heating 2 and 3 neat produced a mixture containing aziridines, thiiranes, and alkenes.
