A range of materials including sintered low and high coercivity ternary (NdFeB) and quarternary (NdFeBCo) magnet alloys and bonded Magnequench (MQI) was investigated. The effects of temperature including irreversible and reversible changes of magnetization are discussed. Magnets with two different working points were investigated. Temperature effects as a function of time were determined for magnets held at 100 degrees C for up to 200 h. It was found that the higher the coercivity and loop-squareness, the better the temperature stability of the magnet. The highest coercivity material investigated was produced by using hydrogen decrepitation of the magnet powder.<>
