Surveyed 2,129 males and 2,307 females (aged 13–15 yrs) from 17 countries about problems they have encountered, how they handled the problems, and when and from whom they seek help for their problems. Results show that males and females were very much alike in terms of the problems they reported. Ss were concerned with family, schooling, and identity. Ss also were similar in choosing help from family and friends as opposed to professional counselors.
