METHODSWe conducted a descriptive, national cross-sectional study of approved PPP loans to small-business healthcare entities from program start (April 3, 2020) to its 2020 application closing (August 8, 2020) using publicly available Small Business Administration data. 3 This study was not human subjects research and did not require institutional review board approval. We followed the Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology guidelines for cross-sectional studies.
