Using the analogy of the deuteron, spin-flavor symmetry, statistics, etc., it is argued that the one-pion exchange potential is likely to bind a few states composed of two ground-state mesons. The best {ital S}-wave candidates have masses, quantum numbers, and decay widths similar to those observed for the experimentally best established non-{ital q{bar q}} candidates {theta}/{ital f}{sub 0}(1720), {ital G}/{ital f}{sub 0}(1590), {ital A}{sub {ital X}}/{ital f}{sub 2}(1520), and {ital E}/{ital f}{sub 1}(1420). Possible {ital P}-wave states are the {eta}(1410) and {eta}(1490). Also the threshold enhancements seen in {ital J}/{psi}{r arrow}{gamma}{rho}{rho}, {gamma}{omega}{omega}, {gamma}{ital K}{sup *}{ital {bar K}} {sup *} and in {gamma}{gamma}{r arrow}{rho}{rho} are likely to be involved.
