The spatial distribution pattern of the population in Glyptostrobus pensilis natural community in Pingnan was determined using four aggregate indices Iwao′s equation,and the causes of the evolved pattern were also determined.The results showed that the spatial distribution of G.pensilis presented an aggregating distribution with high aggregating intensity at the quadrat of 25 m2.The results can offer theoretic guidance for G.pensilis population protection and management.
