Janus‐type cellulosic bottlebrushes were synthesized according to grafting‐from and grafting‐to approaches in combination with click chemistry. The molecular conformation in the solution was characterized by size‐exclusion chromatography combined with multi‐angle laser‐light scattering (SEC‐MALLS) analysis, indicating the bottlebrush products to adopt various conformations in different solvents, forming hemicylinders. The materials are promising, for instance, in the development of novel surfactants, stabilizers for emulsions, Langmuir–Blodgett films or nanocarriers.
