The article focuses on the study conducted for the Listonella anguillarum, a Vibrionaceae bacterium and is responsible for causing vibriosis in numerous marine and freshwater fish in Japan. Accordingly, the study shows that these bacteria normal attack and inhabits during the seed production of the marine species. It notes that the member of the Vibrionaceae are normally seen in the intestinal tracts of marine fish thus it presumes that Listonella anguillarum is also widely distributed in the intestinal tract of wild marine species. Moreover, the details of the said study are also presented, along with the data gathered during the investigation.
