Efficient and abrasion-resistant bionics nonsmooth was introduced into the design of the geologic survey bit.The macro nonsmooth ratio of the bionics impregnated diamond bit was optimized by test in accordance with different formation characteristics.The field production tests of the optimized bionics bit were performed in Huadian,Jilin province and their results showed that the bionics bit optimized in accordance with the formation to drill demonstrated higher penetration ability and longer service life than those of conventional impregnated diamond bit.
