Results Patients with Peptic Ulcer Fig. 1 shows the distribution of the serum-calcium values and of the serum-calcium corrected for plasmaprotein in the patients with peptic ulcer. The mean uncorrected serum-calcium was 9-69± 0-33 (SD) mg. per 100 ml. The lower limit of the range which comprised 95% of the values was 9-04 mg. per 100 ml. in men and in women.
