We give an algorithm for the numerical calculation of non-simple turning points. First we apply the Liapunov-Schmidt theory to a two parameter family of nonlinear equations. The results of that analysis are used to construct an ‘extended’ problem that has an isolated solution. Finally an extrapolation technique is used to improve the results.
