Chicken IL-4 gene cDNA was amplified by RT-PCR from chicken spleen lymphocytes stimulated by concanavalin A(ConA).Recombinant expression plasmid pGEX-6P-ChIL-4,pBCX-ChIL-4,pET-ChIL-4 were constructed and expressed in E.coli by IPTG induction.SDS-PAGE analysis showed that the expression products were fusion proteins with molecular weight of 38 ku,45 ku,18 ku,respectively.These constructs could be a useful resource for the production of ChIL-4,vaccine adjuvant and monoclonal antibodies development against chicken IL-4.
