The title compound is hydrothermally synthesized from an aqueous mixture of PbBi2O5.9 (obtained by stirring a solution of NaBiO3 and Pb(NO3)2 at 10 °C for 5 d), Ba(OH)2, and KOH (autoclave, 240 °C, 2 d).
