The gross anatomy of the copulatory organs of the [male] chicken and turkey is descr. and illus. A method is descr. whereby these organs[long dash]normally concealed within the body[long dash]may be caused to protrude so that semen may be obtained directly from the ducts. Collections of spermatozoa from 22 [male] fowls were made over a period of 7 mo. Cockerels yielded 0.1-1.1 cc. of semen at a single collection, mature cocks 0.4-3.6 cc.
