The synchronized individual production combines a high level of standardization with the necessary flexibility to manufacture customized products. However, it is not able to properly react to disturbances, like high priority jobs. To address this and other challenges, the company employees should be more actively involved into decision making processes, especially when it comes to production planning and control. Therefore, this paper presents a wiki-platform based approach to match the expert knowledge of the company's employees with the daily challenges in the production and an evaluation scheme to measure the process quality improvements.
