This paper presents a method of building curved-profile deployable structure using the alternative form of Bennett linkage. The alternative form provides the capability of completely folding for the structural unit. The layout of such units is similar to the assembly of original Bennett linkage. The advantage of this family of deployable structures is to solve the problem of folding in two directions simultaneously, which the original linkage cannot achieve. They have large potential in engineering application.
