在Kam人的生活中，对各种植物资源的了解和使用为他们的语言带来了一个复杂的植物命名和分类系统。《锦》中植物命名主要有两种方式：1）植物量词+植物名; 2）植物名+形态描述词。无论是哪种情况，都体现了民族文化和语言特点，并很好地运用了构词法和语序的一般规则。
The knowledge about and use of diverse plant resources in the life of the Kam people have brought about a complex system of botanical nomenclature and classification to their language. Mainly there are two ways in which plants are named in the Kam: 1) plant classifier + plant onoma; 2) plant onoma + form description word( s). In either case,Kam ethnic culture and language characteristics are evincive,and the general rules for word-building and word order are well applied.
