智能交通系统（ITS）的一个关键特征是利用有关交通系统状况的信息来改善整体系统性能。因此，智能交通系统可以产生大量的数据，这些数据主要用于管理系统运行，并向公众提供有关系统状况和选择的信息。除了在ITS控制策略和操作中直接使用之外，从ITS获得的这些数据对交通规划和操作应用等具有很大的价值。本文分析了中国交通运输系统数据管理的需求，提出了中国交通运输系统数据管理的研究思路。在此基础上，论述了中国智能交通系统的数据管理概念体系、数据管理组织、数据管理模型和数据共享管理方案等主要内容。
A key feature of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) is the use of information about transport system conditions to improve overall system performance. So, ITS can generate massive amounts of data that are used primarily in managing system operations and providing information on system conditions and choices to the public. These data available from ITS can be of great value for transportation planning and operations application etc beyond their immediate use in ITS control strategies and operations. This paper analyses the demand for ITS data management in China, and presents a research way to manage ITS data in China. Base on this way, the major contents about data management concept system, data management organization, data management model, and data-shared management schemes for ITS in China are discussed in this paper.
