In article number 1905734, Songtian Li, Pavel B. Sorokin, and co-workers report a novel graphene/Heusler alloy heterostructure, which is found to show several amazing features, such as the quasi-free-standing nature of graphene and the preservation of the half-metallic band structure of the Heusler alloy at the interface. This work offers a new perspective on the future development of advanced spintronic devices for data storage.
