This paper presents an investigation on the applicability of array signal processing techniques on PSK-modulated data signals. A system design approach is presented and investigated that allows for two-dimensional radar imaging with scattered communication signals. The proposed system concept has been implemented in a simulation model. The applicability of different array processing techniques and their performance regarding resolution and dynamic range has been investigated.
