Zinc-ferrite (ZnFe2O4 (ZF)) films were prepared by pulsed laser deposition. The. lm deposited without magnetic field at 500 degrees C showed low magnetization of 7.43 emu/g measured at room temperature. Application of magnetic. eld (2000 G) during deposition of ZnFe2O4 films increased the magnetization up to 56.6 emu/g. This suggests that random distribution of Zn2+ and Fe3+ cations was brought about by the external magnetic. eld during deposition.
