ABSTRACT Two new species are described in asulcifrons species– group of the Genus Gonatocerus Nees. These are G. jaintiacus sp. nov . and G. rileyi sp.nov. A revised key for the identification of the 6 species included in this group from India is also given. Also, commented upon the status of asulcifrons species– group. The types are deposited in the National Pusa Collection, Division of Entomology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India (NPC).
