Image-based CAPTCHA Generation system is a security mechanism system designed to perform reverse Turing test, which is used to defend against malicious programs. Text-based and image-based CAPTCHAs are two of the most widely deployed schemes, but most of the existing CAPTCHA schemes are either too difficult for humans to solve or not safe enough since a lot of researchers have attacked them successfully. In this paper, we mainly made two contributions to CAPTCHA introducing a new system known as IMAGE-BASED CAPTCHA GENERATION SYSTEM, a system which provides controlled distortions on a randomly chosen image for user-friendliness and attack resistance. Distortions are made in a way that it fulfills the necessary conditions of low faults and builds up a high capacity to get least or no damage from any attack by content-based image retrieval systems.
