故宫古建筑是珍贵的文化遗产，具有很高的艺术价值、历史价值和科学价值，利用数字化方法对故宫古建筑进行研究和探索具有重要意义。围绕古建筑的人工测量、二维影像和三维扫描三个数据采集环节，故宫文物数字化研究所研究了基于测量图纸的三维建模重建关键技术，结合两种方法，三维图像辅以扫描点云数据，并取得了一定的成果。
Ancient architectures in the Palace Museum are precious cultural heritage with very high artistic value,historical value and scientific value.Research and exploration on the ancient architecture in the Palace Museum by digital method is of great significance.Focusing on three data acquisitions of ancient architecture such as manual measurement,2D images and 3D scan,Institute for Digitization of the Palace Museum Heritage has researched on the key technology of 3D modeling reconstruction based on measurement drawings combined with two-dimensional images supplemented with scanned point cloud data.And certain achievements have been made.
