Materials and MethodsRabbit muscle phosphorylase b was purified according to Fischer & Krebs (1958) as modified by DeLange et al.(1968), and phosphorylase kinase was purified according to Cohen (1973). The catalytic subunit of bovine cardiac cAMP-de-pendent protein kinase was isolated by the method of Peters et al.(1977). Phosphorylase a was prepared as described by
