Zoological Museum of Copenhagen, and entrusted to me for examination by the kindness of Dr. F. Meinert and Dr. H. J. Hansen. It also includes a description of Some specimens sent to me from New Zealand by Mr. G. M. Thornson, which throw light on species represented in the Copenhagen Collection. The majority of the species are derived from collections made in New Zealand and the Gulf of Siam by Mr. H. Suter and Dr. Th. Mortensen respectively. There is no ground for supposing that these localities are unusually prolific in Cumacea, and the rich collections obtained there simply help to indicate how much remains to be done by competent collectors in investigating the micro-crustacean fauna of shallow water in tropical and southern seas.
