A detailed explanation of a surgical technique for grafting of deficient maxillary alveolar ridges is presented. In addition, a technical modification, for use where a fibrous hypermobile soft tissue ridge exists over the deficient maxilla is outlined. Results to date have been excellent as has been the follow-up (12-48 months); continued use of this technique and its modification is encouraged.
