A new nitrogenous metabolite with p-terphenyl core, sarcodonin delta (1), together with two known p-terphenyl metabolites (7,8), was isolated from the fruiting bodies of the basidiomycete Sarcodon scabrosus. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by spectral and chemical methods.
