This chapter presents the exhibition “Krieg. Macht. Sinn. Krieg und Gewalt in der europäischen Erinnerung” that was developed in the context of the UNREST (Unsettling Remembering and Social Cohesion in Transnational Europe) project and shown between 12 November 2018 and 10 June 2019 at the Ruhr Museum, Essen. After addressing the broader mnemonic and museal context in which the exhibition is situated, the chapter discusses the theoretical underpinnings and practical implementation of the exhibition. We then look at the visitors’ reactions to the exhibition which included two original video games:Endless BlitzandUmschlagplatz ’43. The chapter concludes with a set of theses on agonism in museums.
