Based on regional planning of the Chinese mountain torrent disasters prevention,this paper analyzes the characters of rainstorm,geological and topographical conditions,the development of economy and society effected by mountain torrents disaster,the types and quantities of mountain torrent disasters and the characteristics in different prevention regions,and then,proposes countermeasures of torrents disaster prevention in different regions.According to the realities of the country,mountain torrent disasters prevention should rely mainly on non-structural measures and additionally on structural measures.
