Leptobrachiurn gunungensissp. n. (Anura : Pelobatidae) on Mount Kinabalu, North Borneo A new montane species of the Pelobatid genus Leptobrachium from the southern slopes of Mount Kinabalu/North Borneo is described as Leptobrachium gunungensis sp. n. The new form is morphologically very similar to Leptobrachium montanum, but the call structure and the call organization are distinctly different. Leptobrachium gunungensis is considered to be a sibling species of Leptobrachium montanum.
