Two airborne methods for measuring atmospheric humidity are discussed. Instruments using these methods — condensational and ultraviolet hygrometers — were tested and intercompared. A comparison was also made with a 137-C3 instrument on board the Convair 580 research aircraft of the Canadian National Research Council during the “Beauford and Arctic Storm Experiment”.
