Zn-bacteriochlorins or Zn-mesoporphyrins were successfully assembled with light-harvesting (LH)-α and -β polypeptides separately isolated from photosynthetic bacteria in n-octyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (OG) micelle, depending on the structure of Zn-porphyrin derivatives and on temperature.
