First brief information about the latest state of knowledge of the formation of the radon daughter cluster and aerosols, desorption and deposition processes given. After that the values of the characteristic parameters of the airborne short-lived radon daughters, the equilibrium factor, the unattached fraction, and the activity size distribution, measured in realistic domestic environments, are summarised.
