The article describes the case of a 35-year-old male patient with a history of left fourth digit longitudinal melanonychia and dot/globules seen on dermoscopy in nail-apparatus melanoma, which were consistent with the diagnosis of malignant melanoma: pT2aNoMo, Stage IB. The diagnosis was confirmed after physical examination, histopathology and analyses of recorded clinical and dermoscopic photographs. A discussion on melanomas with or without nail destruction is offered.
