Skull injuries caused by trauma and pathologies, such as tumor, infectious diseases or congenital defor mit ies, may r esult into ser ious funct ional, aesthet ical and psychological sequels, requiring the reconstruction of complex craniofacial prostheses. In this field, the choice of suitable biomater ials is the main challenge.
