Nine almost completely 16S rDNA sequences were obtained from Dagunguo of Tengchong Rehai and a hot spring Dafeiquan of Longling by culture-independen t method. Based on phylogenetic analyzing, four of these sequences belong to th e genus Thermus,two are Bacillus and the other three sequences belong to the genera Hydrogenobacter、Pseudomonas and a potential new genus that bel ongs to the family Thermodesulfobacteriaceae between the genera Geothermobacterium and Thermodesulfobacteria, respectively.
