The cultural heritage value of ancient automata can be appreciate not only by historical study but even though design considerations and prototype reconstruction. This paper addresses attention to design and prototype reconstruction of ancient automata for music playing. Procedures are outlined and an example is discussed to show the feasibility but the results of the proposed approach to make again available evident musician automata.
