Northern records of Reticulitermes flavipes and R. tibialis are given. Termites are now known from every state in the United States. There is no indication showing a natural spread or increase in termite populations in recent years. Records of introduction of species to localities outside the original range indicate that such introduced species have not successfully invaded the natural habitats, but are largely or wholly confined to man-made structures. Examples, places, and reported year of introduction follow: Reticulitermes flavipes, Austria, 1837; Kalo-termes dudleyi, Panama, 1890; K. brevis, Natal, 1921, Brit. Guiana, 1920; Heterotermes philippinensis, Mauritius, 1933; Reticulitermes lucifugus, Massachusetts, 1918; Coptotermes formosanus, Hawaii, 1913; Heterotermes tenuis, St. Helena, 1840. || ABSTRACT AUTHORS: A.
