A photonic phase-stabled transmission of broadband signal based on passive frequency mixing compensation is proposed. The mechanism of jitter compensation of aimed broadband signal transmission relies on an adaptive cancellation by mixing two signals under approximately the same external time jittering. A theoretical model is built and the frequency dependent jitter suppression is analyzed and verified. Compared with previous methods, the proposed photonic phase-stabled transmission of broadband signal can withstand faster jittering frequency up to 1 kHz. The experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly reduce the phase drift of the broadband signal of 400 MHz bandwidth. The measured overlapping Allan deviation at the center frequency of 7.2 GHz shows a stability of $3.53\times 10 ^{-14}$ at 100 s average time.
