Although a few field observations of moored ship motions have been carried out, it is impossible to measure long period horizontal motions by using an accelerometer. In this study, an observation system of three dimensional motions of moored ship using multi camera trakers is described. The field measurement of a small craft motions is carried out and the results are compared with those by the other equipment. The applications of the system are also discussed in the paper.
